Dear Parishioners,

Last Sunday, St. Michael’s School had their Christmas Bazaar and it turned out to be a great success thanks to all of you who went to the Bazaar. I was amazed at the selection of foods that were available and the many gifts and prizes that people had donated. It really helped to make it a very jolly and successful afternoon. The children have written a letter of thanks to all of us in the Parish.

Dear Parishioners,

We as the School Council personally thank you for attending our Christmas Bazaar. We successfully raised £3041.00 towards our new school playgrounds.

We hope that you enjoyed coming to our Bazaar and that you had fun. Please come again next year.

When our playground is completed, you are more than welcome to visit for a guided tour of our new playground.

Yours faithfully,

School Council and all the Staff and Children at

St. Michael’s

It was a tremendous success and to raise what is possibly a record amount of money for the School is really great. So on behalf of the Parish I want to say thank you to everyone for helping to make it so successful.

ST. ANNE’S CUSTOM HOUSE: are having a music evening this Sunday 9th December at 7.00pm with the theme of Christmas to which you are all most welcome to come along and afterwards refreshments in the Parish Hall.

SENIOR CITIZENS CHRISTMAS LUNCH: We will be holding the Annual Christmas Lunch on Sunday 13th January 2019. Invites will go out just after Christmas and we hope to have a good number of you joining us. We thank the St. Vincent De Paul Group for organizing the Lunch and I am sure they would love some help from any person who can do so. We will be looking for volunteers to bring the Housebound to the lunch and then to take the people home. So please try and be free to do just that. It is always a very good activity we do for our older Parishioners as a thank you to them for what they have done for the Parish over the years. GOD BLESS, Bob

We hope that the children will help with the Readings and the Offertory and Bidding Prayers and may act out the Gospel reading. To be able to do this we will have a practice on Saturday 15th December at 9.45am and we hope that the children will come along so as to make the Mass a very special one. It is important that we have a practice so as the children will know what to do. We ask too that the children will bring a little present for the homeless people in London. We have been doing this in St Michael’s for the past nine years and the Sisters who receive the gifts are absolutely thrilled with your generosity.
